A stylized logo featuring a circular shape split down the center by a jagged crack. The left half is deep blue and the right half is red, symbolizing division. At the center, a bright arrow made of glitchy, colorful pixels points upward, breaking through the crack. Radiant light bursts from behind the arrow, emphasizing disruption and energy. Surrounding the circle are the words “BREAK THE SYSTEM,” with "BREAK" at the top and "THE SYSTEM" at the bottom in a bold, futuristic font.

Before I knew I was running, I was thinking.
Thinking about the system — how broken it's become, how far it's drifted from the people it's supposed to serve.

I didn’t start with a slogan or a campaign plan. I started with a question: "What would it take to break the system — and rebuild it for us?"

That question became a design. That design became a symbol. And that symbol — this logo — became the first step in turning frustration into movement. The arrow breaking through red and blue? That’s not just politics — it’s personal.

It means we’re done waiting for the parties to fix themselves. It means we're going up, together — even if we have to split the system open to get there.

This campaign began as an idea. This logo captured it. And now it’s a movement. Welcome to it.

Our Mission: Break the System

We’re not here to fit into the system. We’re here to change it.

Too many people feel shut out, sold out, and ignored.
Left, right, center — it doesn’t matter when the system doesn’t work for any of us.

This campaign exists to challenge that. To call it out.
And to build something real in its place.

Mission Pillars

We believe:

  • ✅ The presidency is a responsibility — not a performance

  • ✅ Leadership shouldn't be bought — it should be earned

  • ✅ Real change starts with honesty — not handshakes behind closed doors

Put people before parties. Truth before spin. Justice before power.

About
Benjamin Cobb

Benjamin Cobb in Army Dress Uniform.

I wasn’t born into power or privilege — my earliest memories are of foster care.

By age 2, I had entered the system, where I remained until I turned 17. At just 6 years old, I experienced homelessness. I became a father while still in high school. These weren’t setbacks — they were lessons in resilience.

Later, I served 20 years in the U.S. Army, including 7 deployments. I now live with a 100% service-connected disability. These experiences shaped my understanding of how our systems often fail the very people they’re meant to protect.

I hold an Associate’s degree in Accounting and am currently working toward my Bachelor’s. I’ve managed a semi-pro football team, run a small business, and raised a family — I’m a proud father of eight.

I’m not a career politician. I’m a citizen who knows what struggle looks like, and I’m stepping up because too many Americans feel ignored, misrepresented, and left behind. It’s time to build a government that works for all — not just the powerful.

Clarifications

Some have asked if my campaign is related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. My vision is rooted in unity, fairness, and reform—not in adopting or rejecting any pre-packaged ideology. For a full explanation of where I stand, read my full post: Where I Stand on DEI

Why I'm Running

The current political system is broken. Too many people feel like they don’t have a voice, and I understand that feeling — because I’ve lived it. I wasn’t raised in wealth or privilege, but I’ve worked hard, served my country, and seen firsthand how our communities are impacted by decisions made far above us.

I’m running not to play politics, but to challenge the system that shuts everyday people out. This isn’t about left or right — it’s about people. I believe in an America where equality is lived every day, not just promised during elections.

We celebrate freedom on Independence Day, equality on Juneteenth, and unity on Martin Luther King Jr. Day — but too often, we do it separately. These aren't Black holidays or White holidays — they are American achievements. It’s time we start treating them that way.

As an Independent candidate, I’m not tied to party lines. My commitment is to you — the people. Together, we can create a government that listens, learns, and leads with integrity.
