Justice or Just Fast? Why We Can’t Trade Courts for Kings

“If the courts are too slow, just give the president more power.”
That’s the new battle cry in some corners of American political thought. Especially in Trump-aligned circles, we’re seeing a growing frustration with legal gridlock — and a rising call for stronger executive authority as the solution.
But here’s the real question: Do we want justice — or just results?
Do we want a system that reflects the will and values of the people, or one that bypasses that system altogether in the name of speed?

The Problem Isn’t Delay — It’s Dysfunction

The cries for “emergency” executive power are gaining traction for a reason. People are tired of nothing getting done. Tired of watching important issues stall in court for months or years. Tired of leaders making promises while the machinery of government grinds to a halt.

But the deeper truth is this:

The problem isn’t that justice is slow — it’s that the system was never built to work in the first place.

It was built to protect power. It was built to serve a narrow few. And in many cases, it was built to intentionally delay change that threatened those in charge.

Delay vs. Dysfunction: A Crucial Distinction

Let’s be clear: Deliberate delay is part of any healthy democracy. That’s what checks and balances are for. That’s how we make sure no one person, party, or branch of government can act alone.

But what we have now isn’t just delay — it’s dysfunction.

We don’t have checks and balances. We have chokepoints and excuses.

And those chokepoints don’t just stop injustice — they also stop progress, reform, and accountability.

What Trump and His Critics Both Get Wrong

Trump isn’t wrong for calling out the dysfunction. He’s right to point out the chokepoints.

But the solution he and others propose — giving more power to one man — only deepens the very dysfunction our system was supposed to prevent.

In the same way, critics of Obama once decried executive orders and “mandate politics,” only to turn around and embrace the same tools when the balance of power shifted.

This isn’t about left or right. It’s about a fundamental misunderstanding of why the system feels broken in the first place.

Faster Tyranny Isn’t Justice. Faster Justice Is.

We don’t need to replace courts with kings. We need to replace gridlock with functionality.

We need courts that work efficiently, not ones that take years to process a basic trial.

We need institutions that function transparently, so people don’t feel like justice is decided in backrooms or on political whims.

We need a system that moves faster, yes — but without giving up the safeguards that prevent abuse.

That’s what real reform looks like. Not fewer checks. Smarter systems.

What My Campaign Stands For

That’s why, as an independent candidate for president in 2028, I’m not asking for more power.

I’m asking for a better system:

  • One that isn’t rigged for delay or domination.

  • One that’s accessible, efficient, and accountable.

  • One where justice is real — and doesn’t depend on who’s in office.

Because we don’t need to break the courts to fix them. And we don’t need to crown kings just to get results.

So I’ll leave you with this:

Do you want real democracy — or just results?
Do you want lasting change — or just quick fixes?
Do you want justice — or just fast?

Let’s build a system we don’t have to break.
